Jasper Kroon

I work in the Supply Chain Management team as a Lead Buyer. This role involves me working closely with suppliers in order to purchase products under the best conditions. The best conditions are not necessarily the lowest price. Quality, delivery time and specific product requirements should also be considered.

I am also responsible for supplier management, where the aim is to strengthen the partnerships with our suppliers. But also to take their performance to a higher level. Finally, I work closely with colleagues from various departments to coordinate things and ensure proper communication with customers.

Sentech is a company with a fantastic product and client portfolio within the high-tech industry. There are endless applications for sensor solutions and innovation is constantly occurring. This makes procurement challenging and interesting at the same time. As a purchaser, you are making a direct contribution to the realization of company goals through proper supplier management and running improvement projects.

When I’m not at work, I prefer to spend as much time as possible with my three sons and my wonderful wife. I also like to go for a run or a round of golf in the outdoors.
