Peter Verstappen

Following a career spanning seventeen years at a global manufacturer and supplier of industrial automation systems, I opted to join Sentech in early 2013. On the previous occasions that I had been in touch with Sentech, I was immediately struck by their considerable energy and the enthusiasm.

Jointly applying technology in order to come up with something new has been my driving force in this branch of industry for over twenty-five years. And it remains the challenge that I face with our customers and contacts on a daily basis.

In my field of expertise, I very much enjoy both cooperating with people and sharing my knowledge and experience with them. My day-to-day approach is based on the conviction that mutual respect is the key to doing business successfully, with no hidden agendas, and a firm belief in communicating openly.

We operate in a high-tech world, where standard solutions are not always readily available. This challenge and the appreciation ultimately received for the outcome make me feel really good. What’s more, there’s a considerable level of mutual trust between Sentech and its customers, which really suits me too. Doing business with an open mind, while also communicating openly, is very much in keeping with this philosophy.

While I very much enjoy living in ’s-Hertogenbosch, I also enjoy getting away from it all with three children in my spare time. The journey itself and the beauty of the world around us give us perhaps the greatest pleasure in this regard.
